![]() Beautiful, Long-Lasting Metal-Free Denstistry
At Dr. Lawrence I. Endo Family Dentistry, we understand your concerns regarding the use of metal fillings. Accordingly, we have elected to offer our patients the option of using advanced, new fillings made of tooth-colored materials that contain no metal. Fillings and CrownsOur office provides a choice of traditional or tooth-colored fillings. Tooth-colored material can be used both as fillings and to repair defects in the teeth. Because they are tooth-colored, it is difficult to distinguish them from natural teeth. These fillings are often used on the front teeth where a natural appearance is important. They can be used on the back teeth as well, depending on the location and extent of the tooth decay. Crowns cover and support a tooth with a large filling when there isn't enough tooth left. They can be used to attach a bridge, protect a weak tooth from breaking, or restore one that's already broken. Crowns are a good way to cover teeth that are discolored or badly shaped. They're also used to cover a dental implant. A crown can make your tooth stronger and improve its appearance. Clean Water LinesWe understand your concern about water quality and the importance of keeping you and your family healthy. For this reason, we utilize bottled water during our dental procedures, and routinely disinfect our water lines. This prevents the accumulation of substances that may compromise the health of our patients. The health, safety, and dental care of our patients are top priorities. For Your ProtectionOur sterilization procedures meet California Department of Occupational Safety and Health (CAL-OSHA) guidelines. We steam sterilize all instruments after each use, and test our sterilizer weekly to insure it functions properly. We use gowns, masks, disposable gloves, and barrier covers to prevent cross-contamination between patients. Our patients’ health and safety are our top priorities.Healthy Gums Lead to a Healthy BodyContinued research has linked gum disease to diabetes, heart disease and low birth weight. Our dental hygienist can recommend a regimen of care to decrease the plaque and tartar that cause inflammation of your gums (Gingivitis). Gingivitis can lead to advanced gum disease and tooth loss. ![]() Complimentary “Look-See” Second Opinion ConsultationWelcome to our office...with a no-cost, no-obligation opinion on your dental condition.
